The Mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, has issued his Christmas message to the residents of Teguise.
In the message, Betancort stated “the end of the year has arrived, and it feels that it has passed quickly. I invite you to enjoy this very special time and use it to reflect on what we have learned and what we have left behind, to evaluate our successes and achievements, and our mistakes, to learn from them and continue with an eye on the future.”
“As the mayor, I confess that it has been a very intense year, with many municipal projects that are already a reality and others that will soon be a reality, have made me feel proud of the team.”
“We feel increasingly committed to our municipality, from Costa Teguise to Famara, from Los Valles to Tahíche.”
“We not only say goodbye to the year, but we say goodbye to a difficult time that we have suffered due to the economic situation that continues to shake us from which, I am convinced we will soon emerge and overcome.”
Betancort ended his message wishing “the world to enjoy a new year that will see the improvement of our lives and the island of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.”
