Special bus services will be provided from Arrecife and the three main resorts on Lanzarote to take visitors to the Festival Enogastronómico de Lanzarote in the old town of Teguise on the 25th and 26th of November.
The buses will leave from the three main resorts on Lanzarote and travel directly to the food fair, the times at which they will depart from the stations has not yet been announced.
It is expected than any thousands of islanders will visit the biggest event in its culinary calendar, and the carparks that are usually only opened for the Sunday market in La Villa de Teguise will also be open throughout the fair.
There are also plans to open the Agro-Industrial Complex between Teguise and San Bartolomé for parking purposes, with a shuttle bus service ferrying people to the food fair.
