Yesterday afternoon, the emergency services were alerted to two teenagers in distress 50 metres from the coast in Famara.
At approximately 6pm yesterday, firefighters were alerted to two teenagers in distress who couldn’t return to the shore.
Upon arrival the firefighters located the teenagers, picked them up and brought them back to the shore.
After the pair were brought back to the shore, the firefighters cancelled the request of a helicopter.
