Woman rescued from drowning at Los Pocillos beach in Puerto del Carmen

Lifeguards at Los Pocillos beach in Puerto del Carmen rescued a woman from drowning yesterday.

Emergency services received a call from lifeguards at 12.15 pm, saying that they had rescued a woman who had showed signs of drowning and that they were administering first aid.

Local police and two ambulances arrived at the beach and, after confirming that the woman was in a stable condition, she was taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital for treatment.
