Surveillance cameras at waste collection points in Puerto del Carmen

Tias Ayuntamiento has installed 21 video surveillance cameras in waste collection areas of Puerto del Carmen.

The cameras will monitor waste containers and recycling points on the following streets:  Doramas, Frankfurt, Suecia, Inglaterra, Malvas, Terrero, Nicaragua, Tanausú, Guanapay, Cenobio, Graciosa, Juan Carlos I, San Borondón, Plutón, Irlanda, Pedro Barba, Ancla (2), Teide and the Biosfera and Matagorda shopping centres.

The cameras have been provided by the Técnicas Competitivas company, and Tías is arranging a contract for their maintenance and the management of images.

Existing cameras that had become obsolete or were damaged by weather conditions have been removed.
