The two other winners, Miguel Vera Cabrera and Ángeles García Pereyra were both awarded €500 and €300 respectively.
The competition took place last Saturday in the Charco de San Ginés and brought together fifteen artists who put their talent to the test. This time, the group had to reproduce some of the capital’s most popular spots on a canvas no bigger than 116 x 89 centimetres.
The Ayuntamiento’s Events Councillor, Maciot Cabrera, highlighted that “the participation and demonstration of talent that exists in the capital has been captured in their work, and encourages us to continue with more projects like this. I can already announce that very soon we will open the registrations for the third edition of the Speed Painting Contest.”.
