Six rubbish bins set on fire in Puerto del Carmen

The emergency services were alerted to six rubbish bins on fire in Puerto del Carmen this morning.

At approximately 5:30am, Tías’ volunteer fire service was alerted to six rubbish bins that had been set on fire on calle Juan Carlos I.

Upon arrival, the fire fighters safely extinguished the fires but noticed that a nearby parked car had been damaged by it.

All six bins were destroyed and must now be replaced for 1,200 euros each.

No injuries have been reported.
