Yesterday a hotel receptionist called the emergency services after spotting a swimmer calling for help at Playa de Los Pocillos in Puerto del Carmen.
Reports came out yesterday stating that the emergency services had begun a search for a swimmer that was calling for help at Playa de Los Pocillos. At the time they were only able to find a backpack but no identification inside.
Today, Friday June 21st, the search continues as emergency services look to begin sweeping the area and making inquiries about the swimmers’ whereabouts.
