San Bartolomé has launched its carnival poster for 2024. The theme of the parades will be “The Magical World of Tim Burtolomé” – a tribute to film director Tim Burton.
Mayor Isidro Perez and councillor for fiestas, Estefanía Luzardo, have urged locals to dress up for the celebrations, with Edward Scissorhands’s, Wednesday Addamses, Willie Wonka’s and other Burton characters especially welcome.
The parade in San Bartolomé is likely to take place on Tuesday 13th February in the Parque de Felíx Rodríguez de la Fuente in San Bartolomé, while the Burning of the Guanchinango will be in Playa Honda on 16th February.
