Work on a new roundabout at Nazaret is well underway, with the first layer of tarmac laid. Over the coming weeks, the roundabout will be connected with the LZ-10 road from Tahiche to Teguise and the newly-renovated LZ-408.
The roundabout is part of a €3.5 million project that has already seen a complete renovation of the LZ-408 road, which connects Nazaret with the LZ-30 near the Agro-Industrial Complex. This road, which leads directly through the sandy El Jable region of central Lanzarote, has been resurfaced, elevated to assist drainage and fiutted with new signage.
The Cabildo expects works to be terminated in the summer.
