Several roads in the heart of the island will be closed to traffic for this weekend’s pilgrimage to Mancha Blanca for the fiestas of Our Lady of the Volcanoes.
The LZ-56 (Tinguatón road) and LZ-409 (El Peñon road) will be closed entirely from 8 am on Saturday until 6pm on Sunday, while the LZ-46 from Tiagua to La Vegueta will be closed from 10 am on Saturday to 6pm on Sunday.
The LZ-30 connecting Monumento al Campesino to La Florida will also be closed from 8 am to 10 pm on Saturday.
The short stretch of the LZ-20 between the roundabouts at Monumento al Campesino and Mozaga will be one direction (Arrecife – Tinajo) from midnight tonight and 10pm on Saturday.
