Road closures and detours in Lanzarote

Motorists should be aware that a number of roads have been temporarily closed or diverted so that various works can take place.

In Arrecife, works on sewage pipes have meant that one lane of the Rambla Medular (inner ring road) has been closed on the stretch between the Open Mall and the Ciudad Deportiva sports centre. This stretch includes the bus station. 

In Yaiza, the road between the roundabouts of Playa Blanca and Maciot will be closed daily from 7 am to 4 pm from today, and the road will be closed all day from Sunday 27th “until works are terminated”.  The estimated time for completion of the work is a fortnight.

The LZ-30 road between Teguise and Famara was also closed yesterday in order to repair damage caused by the floods of ten days ago.
