After more than 40 years in business, Restaurante Casa Pedro owner, Pedro Santana Lemes, has retired and the restaurant closed its doors for the final time on May 10th.
On Instagram, Lemes wrote “After more than 40 years, it is time to rest. I only have words of gratitude for all the generations of families, friends, visitors from the island and from different parts of the world who have been faithful to Casa Pedro all these years. I would also like to thank all my team, those who have been with me since the beginning of this adventure as well as those who have joined me during all this time. To thank my family, my most important pillar, who have never let go of my hand, we have always walked together.
It has been a very nice stage and of much sacrifice to always try to offer the best service.
I am delighted to have lived more than four decades with all of you.
A pleasure to have been at your service.
With much affection,
Pedro.”
