A 60-year-old man is in a serious condition after being rescued from drowning in Playa Blanca yesterday.
At 3.30 pm on Saturday 1st October, emergency services received a call from lifesavers on the beach, who reported that they had retrieved a man from the water at Playa Dorada, and were attemting to resuscitate him.
The resuscitation attempts were apparently successful, and a medicalised ambulance took the man to the Hospital Dr. José Molina Orosa in Arrecife, where he was reported to be in a “serious” condition.
