An emergency helicopter rescued a 31-year-old man from the sea off the coast of Los Charcones yesterday.
The man had ended up in the water along with another young man, who had managed to get out of the water by the time emergency services arrived. The other man was floating offshore and holding onto an empty water bottle that someone had thrown him to remain afloat.
An emergency helicopter hoisted the man to safety, and after being examined, he was found to have no injuries.
