The Canarian Health Service have ruled out the possibility of the reintroduction of mandatory facemask use or any other restrictive measure.

The Canarian Health Service are not going to reintroduce the use of mandatory facemasks or other restrictive measures; however, they still advise that residents wear masks indoors especially for those that would be in the vulnerable or elderly category.

Canarian Government spokesman, Julio Perez, has confirmed that despite an increase in Covid-19 cases they will not be reintroducing mandatory facemask use or any other restrictive measures as the rise in cases is not currently ramping up hospital pressure.

Perez believes that citizens should be able to take their own preventative measures and not have measures imposed upon them by the government.
