Tías Mayor, José Juan Cruz, travelled to the Berlin Travel Fair this week, stating that “German tourism has been in decline for years and it is time to turn it around.”.
José Juan Cruz participated in several meetings with German tour operators and highlights municipal projects related to modernisation, energy efficiency, sustainability, and technology. “German tourism has been in decline for years and it is time to turn it around with specific actions and convincing a market that is quite conservative.”
“We are showing the tourism efficiency projects, renovation plans and all the sustainability lines we are developing. The German market is very aware of climate change and among their expectations they are looking for destinations to be as sustainable as possible,” he stated.
