Tías is gearing up for a major food fair that will take place in the Old Town Harbour on the 26th and 27th of November.
The first Festival de Cocinas Volcánicas (Volcanic Cuisine) will feature more than 60 stalls, where local chefs and producers of food and wine will offer their specialities to visitors. At these events, people are usually able to buy tickets which can be exchanged for a sample of food or drink, although these details have not yet been announced.
Live music is also scheduled for the festival, which should provide a fascinating experience for food lovers on Lanzarote.
The Festival will take place from 12 midday to 10pm on Saturday the 26th, and from 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday the 27th, at the Muelle del Varadero (Old Town Harbour) in Puerto del Carmen.
