Special bus services have been announced for this weekend’s fiestas in Famara. To discourage people from taking private cars.
The No 28 service from Arrecife to Famara, stopping at Tahiche, Nazaret and Teguise, will be reinforced, with several trips back and forth during the fiestas.
The main weekend events at the fiesta will be a big outdoor dance on Saturday, from 2 pm to 10 pm. The procession of Our Lady of the Scared Heart will take place on Sunday at 12.30 and be followed by the famous water party on the pier at 2pm.
