Partido Popular members, Juan Monzón and Guayo Rodríguez, have once again denounced the rubbish collection service in Playa Blanca stating that it has been a week since rubbish has been collected in many streets.

“It is the neighbours themselves in the affected areas who, once again, have alerted us to the lack of service and the terrible situation which sees rubbish containers overflow”, stated Monzón.
“It should be noted that just a month ago, Yaiza Mayor Óscar Noda, announced that the service would be optimised as it was necessary for its proper functioning.”
“On many occasions, the service is provided by a single rubbish truck.”
“All this shows is that the mayor and his team are far from providing a solution to a problem that is directly affecting the image of the town”, Monzón said in closing.
