An opinion poll has predicted victory for current Cabildo President Maria Dolores Corujo in the elections of 28th May.
The TSA poll, commissioned by Canarias 7, predicts that Corujo’s Socialists will will be the most-voted party, winning 8-9 seats and giving Corujo the right to form a government by forming a pact with minor parties. .
The Coalicion Canaria and the PP will take second and third place, but the three seats won by Podemos and Nueva Canarias are predicted to just give Corujo enough support to govern with a one-seat majority.
