The sunny southern resort of Playa Blanca is gearing up for an exciting night race this Saturday, with over 300 participants.

The race has a total of 350 participants who will take part in the 1.6km, 5km or 10km races, with fast, low-difficulty routes through the centre of the resort.
The Los Timanfeiros, DJ Alex Osorio and the Kodigo4 group will provide the music for the night from 7pm on Saturday, November 25th as Yaiza Ayuntamiento present the official Christmas light switch on next to the large Christmas tree in the centre of town.
Event organisers have reminded the public that they have until 11pm tonight, Wednesday 22nd November, to register for the race at this link: https://tripasioneventos.com/event/music-race-night-playa-blanca/
Race bibs and numbers will be handed out on Thursday November 23rd at the municipal offices of Deportes Yaiza from 5pm to 8pm and on Friday from 9am to 1pm and 5pm to 8pm.
The races will begin at 7:30pm after the switch-on, starting with the 1.6km race from the Avenida Papagayo to the Plaza del Carmen. At 8pm the 5km race will begin, followed by the 10km race.
