Playa Blanca harbour registered 1.17 million travellers in 2024, a record number for the recently renovated port.
The busiest season was summer, with over 330,000 passengers travelling to Fuerteventura or taking excursions in the months from July to September. Nevertheless, despite an increase in passenger numbers during the year, there was a small decrease in the number of vehicles transported.
The harbours at Órzola and Caleta de Sebo in La Graciosa saw 550,000 and 580,000 passengers respectively, with the greater number on the eighth island being formed of excursion tourists. Puerto del Carmen’s harbour registered 41,600 passengers last year, mainly for excursions and the water taxi.
