Playa Blanca among the most sustainable travel locations in Spain

Playa Blanca has ranked in the top 20 most sustainable travel locations in Spain, according to Booking.com’s latest travel report.

Playa Blanca has placed 12^th in a list of 20 Spanish destinations with responsible and environmentally friendly practises in Booking.com’s latest travel report for sustainable travel.

Booking.com’s report has gathered information provided by over 30,000 people and has revealed how Spanish travellers feel about sustainability in tourism.

The report has revealed that 86% of Spaniards consider sustainable travel important, however, 53% feel that it is not a big factor when planning a trip. 30% said they are tired of hearing about climate change.

A third of Spaniards feel that the damage is already done and that their travel decisions will have little impact on changing that. 27% felt that climate change is not as serious as it is made out to be.
