A patera with 53 people on board was rescued 50 kilometres north of Lanzarote last night.
Salvamento Marítimo has rescued 53 people travelling on a small boat that was detected almost 50 kilometres north of the island.
Of the 53 on board there were three children. The boat was spotted at approximately 4pm yesterday and was brought to the port in Arrecife at 6:30pm.
