Papagayo campsite to open in July

The Papagayo campsite will open to the public in early July. The opening has been delayed by administrative problems between the Cabildo and the company which will manage the site.

The campsite will be open from early July until the start of October and will charge the same fees as last year.

Pitching a tent will be €8 a night (€6 for residents), while caravans and mobiles homes will be €11 a night (€9 for residents), with a maximum of four people in each. If extra people are to stay, they will be charged €3 a day (€2 residents). 

There are 220 places for caravans, mobile homes and large tents, and a further 64 for smaller tents.
