Part of the LZ-2 at Playa Honda will be closed in the evening and nights over the next few days.

The closure of the Arrecife-bound side of Lanzarote’s busiest main road will take place between 7 pm and 6 am until Friday.

This will allow construction of the underpass that will link Playa Honda’s residential zone with the industrial park.

The underpass will be parallel to the existing one, and its purpose will be to filter off traffic heading for the main town of Playa Honda and Deiland Centre  before it reaches the roundabout.

The works will cost 3.8 million Euros and are expected to take around six months to complete. San Bartolomé Mayor Isidro Pérez has apologised in advance to residents for any inconveniences.
