The Tias Ayuntamiento have reopened the public showers and bathrooms for Puerto del Carmen’s beaches.
The showers and bathrooms, which had been closed since the start of the pandemic, have now reopened for public use.
They will be available for use Monday – Sunday from the hours of 10am until 6pm and 10am – 6pm from July through to September.
The facilities will be cleaned every 2 hours to comply with Covid safety.
Councillor for Tourism and Beaches (Mame Fernández) looks to resume more services as the Canary Islands continue to look toward the future, “as we start to see the light at the end of the tunnel, we will resume more services bit by bit.”
