La Villa de Teguise will celebrate its annual Noche Blanca (White Night) on the evening of Friday 26th July.
More than 40 activities will take place in 11 locations throughout the town, including concerts, folk music, local wine tastings, street parades, fashion shows, rap battles, Disney princesses, latin dance, speed painting contests, theatre, exhibitions and children’s workshops, among others. .
The event has become an increasingly popular fixture in Teguise’s calendar, and is also an important night for shops, cafes and restaurants in the town.
The event is called “White Night” because most visitors wear white clothing, giving the event a special atmosphere and visual identity.
Mayor Olivia Duque said “We want this year’s event to offer culture, gastronomy, commercial activities, children’s activities and a programme aimed for all ages.”
