A Lanzarote court has concluded that there is no cause for prosecutions in the incident in which two tourists died when their buggy plunged into a disused quarry near Las Roferas on 14th May.

Vivian Gerber, 61, died instantly in the incident and her daughter, 45-year-old Cheryl Huyser passed away four days later of her injuries.  Both women are reported to have lived in the United Kingdom.

While details of the incident remain unclear, the court ruled that the buggy company bore no liability of the incident.
