Night Race in Puerto del Carmen

570 runners will compete along various distances in tonight’s Puerto del Carmen Music Night Run, which will take place tonight at 8 pm on a route along the Avenida de Las Playas from the Plaza de Las Naciones at Los Pocillos, to the Matagorda area near the airport.

There’ll be a Zumba display at 6.45 before the event, and appearances by the Báilame Dance School, entertainer Ale Ossorio,DJs Jefecito and Ángel Pérez and the Swing del Norte trio.

The Mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, said the aim of the event is “to promote this area of our tourist resort, giving value to its surroundings, beaches, shops, hospitality and accommodation establishments.”
