The Lanzarote Cabildo have announced the acquisition of a new ambulance for Teguise and Tinajo to reinforce the health service.
President of the Security and Emergency Consortium, Francisco Aparicio, explained that the new ambulance is intended to provide greater health coverage in Famara, Caleta de Caballo and La Santa, coastal towns that host numerous sporting events.
“This coastal area in particular is known for its surfers, cyclists, runners and motorhomes, especially in the summer, with an influx of both locals and tourists”, stated Aparicio.
