Unexpected delivery in Arrecife

A woman gave birth in a street in Arrecife yesterday.

Emergency services reived a call at around 10 am, informing that a pregnant woman had gone into labour on Calle Venezuela, a street behind the law courts in Arrecife.

Various passers-by attempted to assist the woman. One of them said “The ambulance came quickly – not even five minutes – but the baby wasn’t waiting for anyone.”
