More protests against mass tourism model announced

Another round of protests against the economic model of tourism on the Canaries has been called for Sunday the 18^th May.

Canarias Tiene un Limite (Canaries Has A Limit) claim that this protest “will be the beginning of a new stage of struggle: firmer, more direct and more uncomfortable for those who refuse to listen to us and take genuine action,” the organizers stated.

The protest will be the third in a series of demonstrations which began last April and continued in October. However, since those demonstrations Canarian authorities have done little to address the grievances of the protesters.
