Mercedes-Benz have published a video showing off its new eco-efficient buses that were purchased by the CACT and added to the fleet of buses used for tours in Timanfaya.
Last month, the CACT added two new eco-efficient Mercedes-Benz tour buses to the existing fleet at Timanfaya.
The two new Mercedes buses are hybrid vehicles, with the capacity to transport a maximum of 55 passengers. The new eco-efficient buses will join the CACT’s existing fleet to offer a “more modern, safe and sustainable” transport solution to be used at Timanfaya.
Updating the bus fleet cost a total of 1.9 million euros from the Canary Islands Development Fund.
