An 18-metre lorry got stuck on one of the hairpin bends on the road from Playa Blanca to Femes yesterday, causing long tailbacks in both directions.
The lorry, which was bearing a foreign number plate, arrived at a curve where it was unable to proceed or reverse at around 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
Traffic agents from the Guardia Civil arrived and helped the lorry reverse until the road was unblocked.
