The Lanzarote Cabildo and Gran Canaria’s Firefighters Consortium have come together to allocate resources in support of Ukraine.

Marcos Bergaz, the Cabildo’s Councillor for Security and Emergencies, stated “at the Lanzarote Cabildo we want to send our support to those in Ukraine during this situation, and we will offer all the help that is necessary.”
Among the items being sent are backpacks containing seven F1 helmets (firefighter helmets), 100 blankets, gloves, and boxes of blankets.
