Members of the Lanzarote Cabildo along with its president, María Dolores Corujo, are currently attending the 2023 International Tourism Fair (Fitur) in Madrid to promote the island and its attractions.
The Lanzarote Cabildo attend the Fitur event in Madrid for another year, further showing their commitment to tourism promotion.
Led by the Cabildo president, María Dolores Corujo, and accompanied by the CEOs of the CACT, Benjamín Perdomo and Héctor Fernández, as well as various representatives of the island’s tourism sector.
Corujo stated “for Lanzarote I want quality tourism, and to maintain the uniqueness of the destination as much as possible, which is what sets us apart.”
“César Manrique is more present in what we do than ever before. And he is present not only because of the continuation of his memory, but also because his legacy is the roadmap for the actions we take in tourism, art, nature, and traditions to achieve a sustainable and responsible economy”, she added.
Fitur meetings
Corujo stated that during the Fitur event, the Cabildo will hold meetings with tourism companies, as well as representatives from potentially key new markets for the island.
“We will continue to present Lanzarote as a destination that cares for its nature and culture”, Corujo concluded.
