Two cheeses from Lanzarote, from Finca de Uga and Queseria El Faro, have been awarded at the Campeonato del Salón Gourmets in Madrid.
Salón Gourmets is the main annual showcase of high-end food and beverages. At this top event visitors can find from the most exquisite of traditional products to the newest trends, aimed exclusively at gastronomy professionals.
Two locally produced cheeses from Lanzarote have returned with awards from the latest edition of the Salón Gourmets competition. Finca de Uga’s “Don Nicolás” cheese was selected of Best Cheese of Spain and Queseria El Faro’s “Cabra Tierno” smoked goats cheese received a bronze award in the smoked cheeses category.
