Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport registered 709,321 passengers in February this year, 0.5% more than last year.
In February 2026, Canary Islands airports recorded a total of 4,546,710 passengers, 1.2% more than last year.
Of the total number of passengers recorded, 4,528,534 were on commercial flights. Of these, 1,545,064 travelled on domestic flights, a 0.1% decrease compared to February of last year, and 2,983,470 travelled on international flights, exceeding the figure for the same month in 2025 by 2.1%.
Traffic by Airports (February 2026)
Gran Canaria Airport recorded the highest number of passengers, with 1,354,603, representing a 1.6% increase compared to February 2025.
It is followed by Tenerife South Airport, with 1,258,924 passengers and a 1.1% increase; César Manrique-Lanzarote, with 709,321 passengers (+0.5%); Fuerteventura, with 547,745 (-2%); Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna, with 517,621 (+3.1%); La Palma, with 127,557 (+7.7%); El Hierro, with 22,747 (+3.8%); and La Gomera, with 8,192 passengers (-1.9%).
January – February Total
In the first two months of the year, Canary Islands airports handled 9,139,022 passengers, an increase of 0.6% compared to the same period in 2025.
Of the 9,101,290 commercial passengers, 3,128,239 travelled on domestic flights (-1.1%) and 5,973,051 on international flights, a 2% increase compared to the cumulative total for these months in 2025.
