Kennedy Denby, from Lanzarote’s Nadamas swimming club, is the 400 metres champion of Spain, after winning Gold in the Spanish Swimming Championship at Malaga.
Kennedy attended the tournament with three other Nadamas swimmers, Andreu Jaén Serra, Gustavo Lorenço Ferreira and Lucía Vázquez Hernández.
She set the fastest time in the heats, cruising easily into the final, and knocked almost two seconds of that time in the final.
We’ve followed Kennedy’s astonishing progress for several years, and would like to congratulate her on her latest incredible achievement.
