Just a little rain to come on Lanzarote

Light rain is forecast for today (Saturday) with the chance of more showers in the days to come.

AEMET, Spain’s weather agency, is currently predicting a 95-100% chance of rain today.  The wet weather will arise from the southern edges of a storm that is moving east from the Azores towards the Spanish and Portuguese coasts, although the weather is not predicted to be severe on Lanzarote where no warnings or pre-alerts have been issued

Winds will vary from southerly to westerly, conditions which often bring unsettled weather, although the dominant northern alisio wind is expected to return by midweek.
