A 43-year-old man was injured after his car hit the central reservation of the road at los Lirios in Tias yesterday evening.
The incident occurred at 8.30pm, and was attended by the local voluntary fire service, local police and paramedics from the Canarian Emergency Service.
The driver was found to be lightly injured and taken to hospital, while the accident area was cleared up and the battery removed.
