A 45-year-old man has been seriously injured after being hit by a car while riding an electric scooter in Arrecife.
At approximately 7pm last night, the emergency services received an alert to an accident Calle León y Castillo with one seriously injured.
According to the report, the 45-year-old was thrown from his scooter after colliding with the vehicle. Upon arrival the ambulance staff determined that he had suffered a serious head injury and potentially a bleed in the brain.
He was stabilised by the staff and taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa hospital.
