The Indian Delights restaurant in the centre of Playa Blanca has been serving authentic Indian food since opening in 2020. Over the years they’ve received countless 5-star reviews – here’s why:
If you read the restaurant reviews on Google, you’ll find the words “delicious”, “amazing” and “excellent” pop up often. Owners Ramesh and Sara are dedicated to using fresh ingredients to create the dishes that they’re passionate about.
While the restaurant opens every day at noon, the staff arrive early in the morning to begin making the base gravy for their popular curry dishes, which can take up to five hours of cooking time.
In August this year we chatted with Ramesh and Sara about what they think has continued to make the restaurant grow in popularity:
The important thing is mine and Sara’s attention to detail – it’s all the little things that make the whole experience. We’re not just an Indian restaurant, some of our waiting staff wear traditional headdresses and gowns, we hold special regional menus and events for Diwali.
Everything we do is for the love of our food and traditions. We want customers to try and enjoy new things, and we’re happy to tell them about some of the dishes they may not have tried yet.
