Every business has a story. The best ones are built on genuine passion. Flower Power began in 2006 when a dream became reality with the opening of a garden centre in Macher. It was a small start, but the idea was strong. Provide healthy, well kept plants that could actually survive the difficult climate of Lanzarote.
After four successful years, the problem was not a lack of customers. It was a lack of space. The business had grown beyond its first home. So the decision was made to stay in the same area of Macher but move to a larger, more attractive location. That move allowed everything to expand. The range of plants. The pottery selection. The display garden. The team.
From an initial two employees, Flower Power has grown steadily to become one of the largest suppliers on the island, now employing ten dedicated staff. That growth did not happen by accident. It happened because local residents and visitors alike recognised the value of honest advice and quality plants.
Today, the same commitment remains. Every plant that leaves the garden centre has been cared for with attention. Every customer is offered helpful, practical guidance. It is a family feeling built on years of hard work. And you are always welcome to come and see what that passion looks like in person.
