Hot and breezy ahead on Lanzarote

Sunshine and brisk breezes are forecast for the next few days, with high levels of ultraviolet rays.

The prevailing northern alisio wind will bring fine weather to the island until Wednesday at least, with clear skies at the weekend and a small rise in temperatures on Sunday to a maximum average of 22 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning.

Breezes will be fresh, reaching up to 45 kph on Sunday afternoon. The levels of UV rays will be 10, a level classed as “very high”, meaning that sun protection measures should be observed, especially during the middle of the day when your shadow is shorter than you.
