A report published by the Canary Employment Service has revealed that over 2,000 residents on Lanzarote were waiting for consultations between January and June.

A total of 2,024 residents on Lanzarote were waiting for a consultation between January and June this year, however, in the six months prior that figure stood at 1,488. Additionally, report published by the Canary Employment Service shows that this year’s figure is the highest since January – June 2019.

In the first half of the year a total of 357 people were on the waiting list for the Traumatology and Surgery department, 125 waiting for the Rehabilitation department, and third highest was 123 waiting for the Dermatology department.
