Two “boutique” hotels in Haria have been granted “Emblematic Hotel” status by the Cabildo.
Following the distinction, the Casa de los Naranjos and Delmas, both with a capacity for 20 guests, will now form part of the official historical heritage of the Canary Islands.
While making the announcement, Cabildo President María Dolores Corujo said that the accolade reflected the new tourist model that the islands are working towards.
“We have many native elements and values that are attractive to tourists beyond the traditional sun and beach model.”
