A vet in Haría has warned pet-owners that poison is being laid in the area of Maguéz and Guinate.
The warning was posted yesterday, after the latest in a series of incidents involving the deaths of dogs, cats and hedgehogs.
“This poison is extremely potent, and can kill an animal in just 30 minutes,” said the clinic, warning pet-owners to be cautious, especially when walking dogs in the area.
